Acumatica EDI and 3PL Help: SPS Commerce, Third-Party Warehouses, Landed Cost
EDI orders that create correctly, and inventory that matches the warehouse
Orders from your biggest customers error out and someone re-keys them. Your counts never match the 3PL and you adjust without knowing why. We trace it to the row.
EDI troubleshooting
EDI orders were creating with the wrong items. The vendor said it passes through whatever the customer sends. The first theory was a reversed mapping. The actual cause: cross-reference rows written before the customer changed a pack size. Rows repointed, both reference stores made identical, verified on live orders. We traced it to the row, not to "EDI is broken."
EDI outages and recovery
During an outage, more than 150 staged records were joined to the order book. Nearly all were already fulfilled and none were lost. The rest were created and the queue taken to zero. We proved nothing fell through before anyone deleted anything.
3PL and third-party warehouse inventory
When someone else picks and ships, Acumatica has to be set up for it. That means the right warehouse structure, a clear integration spec, a reconciliation that runs on a schedule, and no warehouse-management licence you do not need.
Availability you can trust
On Hand, Available, Available for Shipping and the rest form a subtraction chain. When a report column is bound to the wrong one, two reports give two answers. When a stray document sits upstream, everything downstream reads wrong.
Landed cost and margin
Landed cost was not reaching item cost because of one release setting. The margin report was the symptom. We clear the backlog, tie out the accrual account and correct item costs the right way.
Ecommerce channels
Shopify and Amazon orders, fees and payouts reconciled to Acumatica so nobody has to explain a payout by hand.
